You’ll find posts on passive income and financial independence retire early (FIRE) here.  Although I would not label genymoney.ca as a FIRE blog, I do write about (and dream about) FIRE and financial independence from time to time.

Passive income is not as hard to create in Canada as you might think.  Here are 9 easy ways to generate passive income in Canada.  If you have income producing assets, you’re well on your way to creating income while you sleep and eat and breathe, where you can reach financial independence.  The need to work a traditional corporate job or day job will be long gone and you’ll have more time to spend on things that actually matter to you (like taking care of family).
